Sun E. Choi earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce and her Juris Doctor at the Washington College of Law, American University.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Choi served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Eugene N. Hamilton, retired and former Chief Judge of the Superior Court, Washington D.C. Following her clerkship, Ms. Choi entered into private practice to several Washington DC area firms specializing in Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation.
Years later, Ms. Choi became a Prosecutor for the State’s Attorney’s Office for Frederick County, Maryland. After several years, Ms. Choi re-entered private practice as the principal founder of the Metropolitan Law Group.
Ms. Choi is a trial attorney, and her current areas of emphasis include Criminal Defense, Family Law and Civil Litigation to State and Federal Courts. Ms. Choi is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, is currently applying to practice in Virginia and is fluent in Korean. |
