Joseph T. Nah earned his Bachelor of Science with a double concentration in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia, the McIntire School of Commerce as well as earning a Bachelor of Arts with his second major in Anthropology. Mr. Nah earned his Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law, American University where he was a member of the Law Review and graduated Cum Laude.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Nah served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Barry R. Poretz at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Subsequently, Mr. Nah practiced in Washington, DC for major international law firms in the areas of transportation and international law. Years later, Mr. Nah became Senior Counsel to the fifth largest airline in the U.S. As in-house counsel, Mr. Nah worked closely with the Advertising, E-Commerce, International, and Marketing departments to ensure compliance with U.S., foreign, and international laws. Mr. Nah also guided various expansion projects in the establishment of foreign branches and operations.
Mr. Nah’s areas of emphasis include Administrative Law, Business Law, Contracts, Complex Civil Litigation, International Law, Labor & Employment, and Transportation Law. Mr. Nah is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is a certified mediator and is fluent in Korean. |
