Allison R. Fortmann earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs at the University of Colorado and her Juris Doctor at the University of Baltimore.
During law school, Ms. Fortmann was the recipient of the John and Frances Angelos Scholarship as well as the Harford County Law Spouses Scholarship. In addition, as a law student, Ms. Fortmann was an intern to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Fortmann served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Ann Stepler as well as to the Honorable Theresa M.Adams at the Circuit Court for Frederick County.
Ms. Fortmann’s current areas of emphasis include Domestic Relations Law, Serious Traffic Matters, MVA Hearings and is a certified Best Interest Attorney. Ms. Fortmann is licensed to practice in Maryland, is a certified mediator and is fluent in French. |
